Wage loss payment & Taxes
So I have a few months of wage loss claims that I got paid out on. I got this money from a 3rd party, not my employer. I didn't receive any tax documents from the company that sent the check for the wage loss. There's no where, except in an email, that shows what this money was actually for.
How do I claim this? As earned income?
Current attorney working my case says I should seek CPA or Tax Attorney advice... anyone ever been in this situation?
