repost, i picked one of these up the other day.... sad, since i bought it without researching =( from what i see.... these have alot of problems. crucial M4's are a better buy...

all these people talking about problems with ocz drives probably never had one

I've owned 4 different ocz ssds and never had an issue

thats good news to hear.... ive been reading nothing but bad reviews online and im scared as shit. Almost was considering just returning the thing for a refund or reselling / buying another brand before i even opened it

I'd also like to add i've never had problems with SSDs period: 3 OCZ, 1 Kingston, 1 WD. I also just recently picked up a Crucial M4 so we'll see. Once you go SSD, you want it in all your machines as primary drive And once you've tried a SATA3 drive, you'd really want to upgrade your SATA2 drives too


I was going to put a 64GB M4 into my Alienware m11x R3 that's coming in to replace my R1, and thinking I should either put 64GB sata3 for speed advantage or put one of my older sata2 ssd with bigger storage....too tempting to buy another larger sata3 ssd but I really should hold on...

I will note the crucial M4 performs amazingly well for the price bracket, you cannot beat it.
