Sorry for the novice question. How do the Take 5 and Take Classics RC Micro compare?
It looks like the Take 5s were on sale multiple times last month, with excellent reviews for $150. The Take Classics RC Micro are $130, but the very first review on those says that they are only good for a small room. So is it pretty much a no brainer to wait for the Take 5's to go back down to $150 assuming you have the space? Also, would I be able to get away with not having a powered sub if I got the Take 5's? You can swear by your refurbished stuff all you want, but I have first-hand experience, and would NEVER buy anything refurbished.
Why do you think refurbished stuff is so cheap? The manufacturer gets defective products returned and unload them to 3rd party vendors cheap who try to entice you at 20% discount off retail. |
