I'm tempted, but I'm hesitating for a couple reasons.
1. I prefer the black, but to save $30, I'd happily take the silver. 2. At some point, Lian Li switched from having usb 3 males that come through the back of the case, to the proper 20 pin usb 3 header. I'm suspicious that the reason for the discount is that they might be clearing out some of the older models. When I contacted Newegg to ask, they didn't have a clue, and they have no way to check. I asked if I'd be on the hook to pay for return shipping if I get the old model, and they said yes. |

Seems like a pain to build:
http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/...e-review/1 Maybe a HTPC but most HTPCs have a desktop shaped case to fit in home theater consoles. There is so little room because of it's size your pretty limited what you can put into it. |

But yes, you have to know what you're getting into with a case like this. If approached correctly, it's plenty big for a gaming case with a decent video card, or one heck of a nice workstation. |

I wish this was the Q08. That would make an excellent case for a NAS.

I've been using this case for 6 months now. It's a great case. Small, giant fan in the font, and it takes full size ATX power supply. I have a Corsair 80plus power supply that I paid $19 after rebate, one intel x25-m 80GB ssd, 1.5TB samsung hdd, intel mini-itx DH67CF, i3-2120, 8GB ram, bluray rw, geforce gtx 460.
It's very tight to fit everything in, but with some patience, anyone can do it. Very quiet, and it runs games pretty well too. On idle, it uses about 35W power. Standby 1W. If I didn't have the graphics card, then it would only use 20W. Now the cons of this case: came with USB 3.0 internal headers (my intel board only has usb3.0 on the rear) bluray drive can make noise from vibrating blue power light is too bright no SD slot (I know most case don't have it anyways, but I really think these should be included by default) expensive |
