Tax Returns Done?

We finished ours last month. Getting a nice refund. So, I'm going to use it to buy a new commuter car.....probably a Prius.

Mine were done in Jan. Got all my refunds.

Our accountant didn't send a form so it's delayed for another 6-8 weeks.

I'm getting there. A few more days and I hope to be done...with my returns for 2010.

Mine are always an adventure. Worst was in 2009 when I had to file not just the prior year, but also amended returns for ten earlier ones:



...and, oh yeah, that was when my shoulder had come apart (you can see my right bicep wandering around loose looking confused under the skin), and I was putting off surgery to have it reassembled until after I had the taxes done. Not that I liked doing all the data entry and stuff with the muscles and tendons loose under there, but having my right arm strapped to my side like they do after surgery would have slowed me down more, being right-handed and all.

(But I got them to the Post Office and got myself to the surgeon and all was well.)

Done got my fed refund waiting until the bitter end to pay the state.

i did them the first week of february. i received my federal refund within 3 weeks and i'm still waiting on the state. according to the dept of revenue while they strive to get them out within 45 days, i'm not entitled to interest unless it's delayed past june 1st
