man there are alot of different amex foursquare/fb/twitter special going on right now....too bad i don't pay for my redbox rentals

Thanks, so if I have the $5 credit and I only spend $2.17 on a rental this time, does it negate $5 from the deal or do I still have left over with Amex? I think I have to spend $5 in one transaction right?

duno, but it should work since its a $5 charge that amex wants to see as they cant tell what the charge is for

Do you know this from personal experience or are you just speculating? I've found that Facebook and Foursquare deals in general aren't allowing for double-dips when I tried to do with Whole Foods last month.

anyone received a confirmatory message from amex after buying a $5 GC from redbox? or even better, have you already recd the $5 statement credit for a redbox giftpack / GC
purchase?

there is not enuf time now for me to add up $5 worth of dvd rentals before the 4/30 exp date. so a GC is the anwer for me , BUT, it seems that the $5 GC purchae through the redbox webite does not show up as 'REDBOX' on the statement. lookss like REDBOX use a third party for these credit card purchases done over the internet.

did not know you can spend money from the rental kiosks on anything but dvds/games. not sure how people are buying gc/gp via the machines.
if they sell the gc via the machine, i'd do it, but i don't see a slot that would 'shoot' out a gc/box other than the discs

if u are a new user, you need to rent a movie, blue ray + a game to maximize the cash back via the credits as they have a max of 3 / rental limit for new users.
