A prequel to 'Lost Planet: Extreme Condition (2007)'. The planet E.D.N. III is encased in ice while pioneer miners searching for a payday, like Jim Peyton [the player], brave the isolation in search of rich "Thermal Energy" mineral deposits for NEVAC, but soon unearths more than he's been told. Stand your ground against the primal, three-story Akrids with your "Utility Rig's" drill and weapon upgrades.
