Search returning less/different results (things like display 25 or 50 results, etc)

When search using "All Forums" link below,

It is missing result like

While the same search, but instead of "All Forums", I remove "Hot Deals" and keep the rest, the result contain the extra posts mentioned above and few more. Doesn't make sense search less forum and produce extra result. It is possible it is missing some post also but didn't check carefully.

Also selecting 25, 50, or 100 from "Displaying 25 50 100 Results" may produce slightly different result also.

In additional, as mentioned before, all inclusive "All Forums" display options in the Advanced Options doesn't display some thread that is included in either picking only "Hot Deals" forum or picking all forums beside "Hot Deals" when using the "filter By Forum" feature.

I'll wait for our search developer to chime in on this

The only thread I see missing from the 25 per page result shows up if I go to page 2; I can't look into this in depth at the moment, but I definitely see what you're referring to, so I can take a look when I'm in the office
