Any way to get this with an existing Emerald Club membership?
When I joined as a new member, I had to input my name and driver's license information to search for existing profiles. The next screen showed I did not have a profile and allowed me to create a new profile for this benefit. You may try this route and see if it will recognize you and upgrade you automatically.

OR

There is the option to upgrade when you click on the link in the wiki, but you have to send them an e-mail per the following on the screen:
Already a Member?

For a limited time, provide your Emerald Club information and receive a one-year upgrade to Executive status.

Send us an email to upgrade now"
The source code is 1730, the company name is Signature Flight Passenger Account, and the company ID is FBOECEX.

Hope this helps you get an upgrade!

Do they waive the $25/day under 25 fee like Hertz does with #1 Gold Club Members?

Does this mean with this free Executive membership, I can get cars like a Hybrid, Luxury, and Premium SUV for the regular Midsize rate? Thanks.

Only if those vehicles show up in the executive/emerald aisle. Alternatively, you can ask one of the porters if you can grab one of those cars. Sometimes they say yes and you are charged for the midsize rate.

National rental cars blow away Avis and Budget, they beat Hertz and everything else soundly as well, provided you are willing to pay for them.

They let you pick out your car, and don't stick you with crappy Nissan Versa's in compact. I've gotten a few Focus' that were completely upgraded with leather interior and Synch, compare that with the average compact from everyone else and it isn't even close.

All of that to say, if you want to be cheap then go somewhere else, then make a different thread but saying that other companies are better becuase they are cheaper is comparing apples to oranges. The product isn't the same.

Thanks! Lost my executive status this year. Would love to get it back! I have rented from Avis and Hertz, but I still get a kick out of choosing my own car. And I have used lots of free rental days for vacations.

Also, remember that Enterprise owns National, so you earn National credits when you rent from Enterprise as well!

if its good for a new member until 2013; can't you just sign up as a new member.. the existing member deal for 1 year is not as good.

Do we need to cancel it before Feb 28, 2012 to avoid the annual fee?
