Stumped, tried building computer tonight and ran out of night. How does this attach into one of the tool-less drive bays? The case's paperwork shows the 2.5" HD bay as behind the mobo, and attaching it to the included 3.5 inch tray does nothing for the tool-less bay.
you can try to mount in the floppy bay; but since ssd does not have moving parts you can place on the bottom of the case; just flip it so it;s not going short circuit ...or remove tool less clips from the bay and use regular hard drive screws;
duct tape is the best tool.
What exactly is the problem? The case has two 2.5" mounting points as you've already seen on page 12 of your manual[antec.com]; one behind the motherboard tray and another on the bottom of the case. If you want to put a 2.5" drive into a 3.5" space, you need an adapter bracket.
Use the 2.5" mounting points. An SSD can be mounted anywhere because it doesn't have any moving parts. This is the route that won't require extra money. Otherwise, as mentioned, you will need to buy a bracket/adapter to mount it into a 3.5" drive space.
Why do you want to mount it there?
