Yes, prices are jacked and the only thing left in the XPS 8300 are with overpriced RAM!!!!
I purchase new for less than these prices last month for my Brother.
Finally get a desktop Coupon and there is not a single good deal I could find!!!!
FYI, there are discussions on Dell and Nvidia forums that GTX680 boards will not work in the XPS 8300.. buyers beware.

I have been watching the prices on the 8300's since Jan and the one I snagged was about where they've always been. I think the good ones went early and the higher priced systems left now have been there for the last couple days anyway

That is always the unfortunate part of the Dell Coupons. However, I have snagged my best deals late at night into the sale when they do some of the refreshes. I had just bought a XPS15Z last week that I would be kicking myself about if I wasn't going to be sending it back. Oh well.
