Good deal. These are pretty good and I haven't had any that I've disliked. I've had blueberry, raspberry, mint, cookie dough, brownie, and s'mores.
I personally find the berry flavors and s'mores to be the best also. |

You're still ingesting 200 calories here to get 20 grams of protein. If the net carbs & fat are so low where are all these calories coming from?
IMO the best nutrient profile I've ever seen in a protein bar is the Questbar - http://www.questproteinbar.com/ingredients Don't think I'll ever find a deal on these though so I don't buy them. I've had a couple and I'm a fan, but I'm not a fan of paying $2+ for a bar. |

If you want a lot of protein with no calories, eat greek yogurt. I enjoy the plain myself but for a little bit more sugar (natural), go with one with Blueberries or strawberries. You will regularly see Fage, Oikos, generic brands go for .99. Beats these bars for health IMO.

Sugar alcohols are not worth the carb savings to me. If I'm gonna eat a protein bar, I usually go big or go home - and going big obviously means the BIG 100. I've tried quite a few different protein bars, and haven't found too many that I can eat daily for more than a couple weeks in a row, other than the high calorie BIG 100 bars. That said, just about any protein bar tastes better than the vast majority of protein shakes I've tried (regardless of pudding, powdered peanut butter, ice chips, or other edible witch craft being added)

This is probably a good deal for these particular bars.
However, they aren't really low carb. They are 22 carbs (subtracting 1 for fiber). Sugar alcohols affect people differently, but for me (who measures my blood sugar) maltitol affects my blood sugar similarly to any other carb. Erythritol is a much better sugar alcohol, with less impact, but isn't often used because it costs more. Also note that maltitol causes gastric distress for a lot of people, but others tolerate it fine. |
