I'm still not seeing the niche for this game.
BF/BC fills a particular niche, MW fills the other. This tries to be in the middle but do people still even really play the original? The BC2/BF and MW communities are still quite strong for the old games... Still, I'm sure they'll make $$ on it. One thing about BF3, which I find shocking given "the destructive capabilities of the Frostbite 2 engine", I don't really like is the buildings are actually less destructible than they were in BC2. I put C4 on a building a guy was hiding in and it didn't blow up the wall or do squat to him. In BC2 it would have for sure blown him up. I think I've only collapsed one building on a guy and he was a lazy F'ing sniper on my team who wasn't doing shit in it!  After he died he promptly pulled an actual kit and helped us out In BF3 you actually have to know which buildings you can blow up and which you can't. Hell, I couldn't even C4 a concrete wall (just a wall, nothing else) on one map. WTH, C4 can't blow up a 6 inch thick concrete wall!?!?!?!?!

I'm just looking for a cinematic campaign in MoH:W - last one had its moments, but were few and far between a buggy game. MoH:W's multiplayer needs a lot of convincing - especially after the first's identity crisis - to stand out in between CoD's arcade action and Bf3's visceral warfare - at they very least I hope there is a horde mode in MoH:W.

Didnt see a more recent post and this looks like the official one.. So Bumping this
Anyone know if there is a BETA coming out for this game? Yes I know about the BF4 beta if you buy it. I meant the Beta for MOH:Warfighter. Im on the fence about getting it. Rather play the beta first though. |

I'm exited for it. I thought MoH 2010 had the best 'modern combat' FPS single player campaign since CoD4 and that it was better than any of them to come out since then. Never did play multiplayer though, so I have no opinion on it, but I heard bad things.
I'll be picking up the "military-only" edition that comes with all of the LE content, as well as their exclusive "Project Honor" camo. The listing for it also mentions "other exclusive unlocks" and that money from the sales will go to a ton of different military and vet programs. I kind of wanted the steelbook from Amazon, but I'll settle for the military-exclusive version, just because it is somewhat exclusive. I just wish I wasn't bound by the GovX ToS saying that I cannot resell items purchased from them, because people would probably pay pretty well for that exclusive camo, just because not everyone will have it (similar to Recon helms in Halo before Reach came out). EDIT: Just remembered that there is a level/mission in the Philippines in this too. Hearing that pumped me up. Can't remember if it is Abu Sayaf or MILF though, but it should be pretty cool.
