Just in case things got damaged through shipping that will reveals its ugly head a year from now. I saw that too on their website, but I guess I was looking for "Weber Performer" on it.

I'm guessing the gas ignition mechanism will be covered with the 2 years

Will the box fit in a Camry? back seats or trunk?

I found one in Pearland, TX (on BW 8). It was $246. They have one left for sure. The computer said 4 in stock. I thought it was still a good deal and got 1 of the two. I don't think we'll see too many more grill deals with summer starting.

It won't fit in a Camry. You'll need an SUV or truck.

For those that have purchased one, which model did you get?

My store has several in stock at $180 but when I was looking at the floor model, it appears to be an older model.

They didn't have any of the boxes out so maybe they just had an old display. I didn't ask to check because I'm still debating on purchasing one

My HD only had the 1411001 model, which is the one without the propane charcoal igniter. I was going to pick on up, but I think I'd like the propane feature

I was at the HD near me.
One left in stock, and 4 left in stock for the other model.
The only difference between the two? The one that people were able to get for as low as 180 was 263.XX
and the other one was 269.99.
Not much of a difference between the two, in terms of the price tag.
I was very disappointed to see the grill at full price. I've been wanting to go back to charcoal from gas.

I got it to fit in the back seat of a passat just barely. It was basically the reverse of what I imagine giving birth would be like but after 25 minutes of pushing on one side and running around the car and pulling on the other over and over I got it in.

Got it!!! Wooohoo! None in Fort Collins, or Loveland, CO. Drove down to Firestone. They had a floor model that said 249. Was bummed. Walked around and on a shelf they had it 2 in the box, with $180 sticker. Model 1421001 (with ignition lighter). Got 1. Had at least one other in stock. Been waiting to get this for several years!! Thanks and repped!!

Scored one today. The assembled one was banged up and missing the grill so I took boxed one. Took maybe a half hour to assemble. Got the one with propane lighter for $180 plus tax.

This model is on clearance because weber is discontinuing the ignition feature on its performer models and dropping the price by 50 bucks.

Just an FYI, this is still a great deal.
