Magic Bullet $29+tax @ costco

The motor is weak and the build quality stinks. I got one as a gift and it broke after one use of trying to chop almonds or pecans (don't remember exactly). I got it exchanged, but the 2nd one only lasted a few uses before it died as well. Somehow mentioned this to a neighbor and they had the same bad experience with the magic bullet as I did. Spend the money and buy something better, like a small Cuisinart food processor for roughly $40-50.

I bought the Magic Bullet last year from Costco and have used it everyday with zero problems, even if it broke today, I would buy another. I use it primarily to make smoothies so maybe the motor has not been pushed beyond the limit? For $30 and what it provides, it's a great deal! One of the few items on the As Seen On TV stuff that is worthwhile.
