I think some of you fail to realize the impact environment has on a person.
Hell, if a guy off camera has a gun pointed at you or ready to use, I'm sure every time you are interviewed you would say anything to save your skin/family.
Not to mention, the kids are indoctrinated from birth to believe crazy things not bound by logic. Hence, their whole perception of the world is skewed.
I'm not saying this is our problem, but its not that hard to see how brainwashed form birth + fear of big brother can result in this mindset for NK people.
When I heard this morning on NPR that we were giving food aide, first thought in my mind was "WTF are we giving aide to this country that from birth sings nursery rhymes chanting the US is evil."
