I shutter at the thought of the Pepsi Next, I still have the remembrance of after taste in my mouth. Must give away all our bottles to. Some lady at the store said her kids really liked it, so maybe a cheap soda drink for the kids, not that kids should really have soda anyway. When I was a kid we were allowed one Pepsi bottle a week. Remember those long necked bottles that you returned for a deposit?

The starbucks in the glass bottles that are in the 4 packs that were on sale last week for $4.99 are really good. Those have milk in them. Are the refreshers like this at all? Are they in a can, if so they are probably more like those other espresso coffee drinks in the can and not like the milk drinks.

This is funny, as that was my thought too.

I don't drink coffee, but I do like the Frappucino bottles and I like the Frappucino Mocha from Starbucks. But something just doesn't sound right about fruit juice and Starbucks in the same breath.

starbucks refreshers taste like any other energy drink but without a heavy vitamin taste. Not bad but not great and not really "good" either. There was no "coffee" taste either

Just meh.

update: Just told dh about my review here and he said "'It tastes like a like a red bull type drink with a little fruity flavoring"

Personally I dont think its as strong flavored as most energy drinks and it certainly doesnt have the "energy kick".

I asked dh if he noticed any "energy" boost and said "No, it's not even refreshing"

darn...wish they were the coffee ones in the can. The last coffee deal we had....I liked them. And I am not a coffee drinker.
The pepsi next tastes better over ice......just noticed how many bottles were in my son's room.

I almost tried these last week and the funky sugar scared me away. I tried to look it up online but:

Are they really saying that each can is hand-brewed and they can't know for sure what's in it? I think this revelation scares me more than the fake sugar.

But they do say (as did the can,) that it doesn't have a coffee taste.

Starbucks is famous for its coffee but go to one of their coffeeshops and you can get many other things besides coffee.. sandwhiches, desserts, smoothies, sodas ect.

Single unique print. There's a code beneath the words "specified above" with a CC at the end of it that's different with each unique print as well as the code under the square at the top right. So each coupon needs to have a unique code. There's a lot of discussion about it in the 4/22 thread explaining you need to close your browser completely and then reopen it to print it again and get the unique number. Try Chrome to get additional unique prints.

ok starbucks refreshers bought one yesterday
sparkling juicy flavor, not bad really
taste like green tea somewhere down in the juice flavor.
all seven of my kids that took a sip like it
and I thought it was ok, might even be yummy on a hot day..... if there was no true coffee around

FWIW

I tried the strawberry lemonade. It tasted like a mild energy drink to me but not quite as metallic. Being cold is probably a must. I didn't taste any 'coffee' but it uses green coffee beans and I think the roasting process brings out the 'coffee' flavor.
I only drank a few sips before realizing that it had stevia in it. Now I'm not saying stevia is bad but it gives me nasty headaches, probably something to do with it being derived from a plant related to typical seasonal allergies ones. Just something to keep in mind.
