I got the extra software (Vista Ultimate) a couple weeks ago. Today in the mail came Office Home & Student 2010. It is a Not for Resale shrink wrap. I will likely give it to a relative, so I am not going to open it to verify the number of licenses. However, it does say on the package that it is a Family Pack with 3 licenses.
The email address that I used was: email@example.com. I just said in the email title that I signed up in for the Windows Feedback Program in April 2012 and never received any response. They probably get lots of junk mail, so try to make the subject of your email clear. It took them about a week to respond and then a couple more weeks after that for them to research it. After they apologized for the glitch, I selected the bonus software and made sure I included my name & address. About 5 weeks after my last email to them, both software items were received.
Thought you needed a proof of purchase to get the 2013 upgrade. If Microsoft somehow allows gifts or if there is no physical proof needed, then I suppose it might work. No harm trying. Let us know the results should you attempt this.
