Search bug

I use SD via the mobile site, seems like about a month or two ago, something changed with the search results.

When you choose "Search in Thread Titles Only", it no longer limits the search to just the title, it now includes the original post as well. While the search is somewhat still useful, it will pull in a lot of irrelevant results.

Could you undo the change, making it only show titles that have the search word. You could consider adding a 2nd search option "Search in Thread Titles and Original Posts Only".

Upon further searches, the search doesn't seem to be working right at all.

If you search for Patio Table, you get a ton of results that are really irrelevant.

Patio Table gave tons of results for Groupon deals. My guess is the results had either Patio or Table in them, not necessarily the combination of them together.

Search seems useless now.

Scrolled to top of page, clicked "Mobile Site"
Clicked "Search" (top right of page)
"Search Forums" dialog is displayed
Select "Search in Thread Titles Only" and click "Go".
First result was:
"Seattle : $17 for $35 Worth of Italian Fare and Drinks at Marcello Ristorante [Groupon]"

Sorry for the delayed response; this is on our list to revisit - the mobile search is an older one that doesn't work as well. It will be updated soon to the newer code which should improve results

I'm impressed with all you do on this site. Been meaning to comment about usability and generally great layout.
