Windows 7 password

I just did a system image restore using the built-in utility of Win7.

my system successfully restored to a version from year ago.

now my problem is that I don't recall the password I created for the username that is showing at the login screen. :-(

Any help. I am using my phone to create this thread.

Did you make a password reset disk? Actually..stupid question considering your last backup was a year old.

Hiren's Boot CD has a password repair utility. Download it create a CD. Pretty straight forward.

I've used Offline NT Offline Password & Registry Editor and Ophcrack (which comes across as a security threat on most AV programs) and it is robust and it is powerful as long as you got time to download all of the rainbow tree tables which are about 700MB a piece x 3.
