If you want to do this, I highly suggest you remove the pad before using the unit. Once you heat the pad up, it will be more difficult to get off. Before the first use, you can literally roll it off the cpu. If you did use the unit, simply use some of the artic silver thermal pad remove. My honest opinion is that its goo gone. But thats only because its the same color and smells the same XP |

Received mine today. Used a gskill 4gb module and a kingston 64gb ssd. Installed windows 7 and the drivers from the included cd. Have to say this unit works pretty dang well! and it really is a tiny setup
![]() It was mentioned that the wireless antenna may be wired backwards. What is the correct order for the black and white cables? |

So I initially set up my system with 32bit os and didnt have any issues. But my testing was limited. I reinstalled with a 64bit OS and while playing an mkv over the network the networking would just stop pulling data.
I downloaded the latest Realtek driver here: http://www.realtek.com All my problems went away. I used this link here to embed the driver into my usb install.wim image: http://superuser.com/questions/63...lation-dvd Now I can install windows 7 on this mini comp and have the wired network recognized right away. You might be able to do this with other drivers though although the other drivers appear to be larger packages with utilities. YMMV with those. Hope this helps someone! -Soul Last edited by DaSoul; 04-22-2012 at 03:22 PM.. |
