I built my own HTPC from a desktop mini ITX board that takes regular desktop RAM and supports 8 GB, have it in a cooled case with a DVD drive, and after rebates it cost me about $220 to build. Still it takes more space. And the little guy is more flexible space wise. Can even mount to the back of a monitor. But at 159, add a hard disc and RAM and you are rising in cost quickly. I liked the deal mixed with the SSD last time. At $159, this is a so so deal. I think $129 is more appropriate given the cost of adding the drive and RAM (about another $120) and needing an external DVD drive. |

I do not think that's true. I have been giving reps long before I reached 50. You cannot rep the same person continuously - it said you have to spread around the reps. I jut clicked the reps link of the person on a post (s)he posted and give a reason and click "add to reputation" or similar. That's all. I guess for starters like us - it will add +1. Do not go to SD...
