It really sounds more like the first person didn't want to deal with doing the post-q at all, and knowing you didn't have everything with you would make you go away. I've never heard of anyone going about it that way before (but if that's how the store wants to handle it, well, then so be it, no matter how odd it may be).
Reps are back...for now.
I owe loads of gratitude to everyone that got me where I am! Read the *NEW* CVS FAQ and post your questions there. Let's keep the deal threads deal-related, please.Would it kill you to read the wiki? Or to read the thread? All the experts got to where they are by reading...you can too. |

I bought a set of (5) $4/$20 CVS coupons from a seller on eBay (from an eBay ad I saw on iheartcvs.com today); the listing says they're all one-time use, and will work on any CVS card without beeps. They all have unique codes (Exp 5/25), and say "Limit one per customer" at the top. Will these work without beeps if I use more than one on the same card?

Every now and again you'll have one beep "already redeemed" but there's no way to know that before you use it. Sometimes CVS's server sends out duplicate q's. It's pretty rare though, so it shouldn't be an issue. |

Does anyone know if it is possible for CS to "reset" the limit on a ECB deal?
I had a register crash on me when I was about to scan my GC to pay the last few cents. Cashier re-rang everything, ECBs printed. Seemed like everything was OK. A few days later I was looking at the receipt and noticed that my tallies seemed off. I had only done the Revlon and Accu-check deals. Revlon was at double what I had spent and the Accu-check now shows "limit reached" when I've only bought 1. ![]() I don't care about the Revlon b/c there's no way I'm maxing that out but really annoyed that this glitch is taking away my chance to do the meter deal again since it's a monthly. Just wondering if there's any point in calling about this. |

WOW, just discovered this thread. It is amazing! Thank you Rydergal!
![]() It would have definitely saved me the learning curve over the last few months, especially the bit about the CRT coupons sometimes being coded as $/$$ coupons. I have often looked at my receipt and tried to figure out why the darn thing beeped when I had it all right! ![]() I have what I believe is a common question that perhaps may be added to the list. Does the order you scan the coupons matter when using a $/$$ pass? Example: 10$ worth of at least items Scan 3 x $1 MFQs first Scan $3/10 CVS pass second vs. 10$ worth of at least items Scan $3/10 CVS pass first Scan 3 x $1 MFQs second I think it doesn't make a difference from my experience, and the register reads them fine in any order but just wanted to make sure. Did you make a post or do wiki work work? If it was a post, you can go to Notifications & Activities and see all of your posts. If it was wiki work...well, are you sure it was this thread? I'm very sorry but I don't know what happened to it! Don't you hate it when things go poof? I know I do!!!! |
