win7 "godmode"

It's been known for a while but I searched and didnt find a tread here. Basically its a hidden control panel to access win 7's control options. I read it works on vista 32 bit also. Kind of makes you wonder what other back door stuff microsoft stuck in there programs


To enter "GodMode," create a new folder and then rename the folder to the following:
GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}

From what I have read, its only a short-cut to everything that is already available in the control panel

Ok, this has been around for several years, not really earth shattering news here.

I had this on one of my machines before I reformatted for an SSD and just never used it much. Do you use it? If so what for?

I wouldnt say this is a back door, but yes microsoft and apple both have back doors in their os's for governments. Have since the 90's. I could go on and on with the detailed info that I learned from a programmer who actually did some work on this stuff back in the late 90's but I wont because with some google research you can dig some details out yourself.

Basically he summed it up like this. Don't do anything on a computer that connects to the internet that you wouldn't want plastered up on a billboard along the highway because that is how public everything you do is to the government and to anyone else with the government toolset.
