Sam's Club: Charmin Ultra Strong 36 Giant Rolls (equals 90 reg. rolls) $22.37 + tax

Is this deal better than current Costco Quilted Northern after $4 coupon? Anybody knows?

I usually buy the POM toilet paper at Sam's, but this could be another option to consider. I've never been impressed by toilet paper that makes fancy claims though, like "with lotion" or "ultra durable" and what-not though

That is Sam's everyday standard shelf price. just my humble opinion, but that is not a slick deal.

At this point, I would joking-ly ask if you not to post their other 30,000 shelf prices.... but I don't want to sound mean.... just informative.

Well I wouldn't post their 30,000 shelf prices because not all of them are good prices, as you probably already know. I just posted for reference for people who are in the same boat as me and need TP now. Given the current deals out there Sam's normal price as you call it is the best deal out there. Guess it helps everyone not to have to do the research themselves, but I guess I could be wrong.

As for Charmin's claim to be "Ultra Strong" I will vouch that it is indeed better than "Ultra Soft", cheap, or normal brand TP. It does not shred like the other TP's do.

The latest Consumer Reports Magazine top rated 3 ply Ultra Soft and Thick White Cloud a Walmart brand. In their imimitable style It "Cleaned up in their ratings"I'm planning to try to swipe some from my local Walmart, and see if it can unseat my long time favorite Charmin Ultra Strong (rated at a mediocre 18 of the 25 brands they tested). Try it you might like it.

Sign of the times man. Everything cost more to make these days. I'm just looking for the best price of what they offer. As long as their comparison is still the same meaning that 4 New length Giant Rolls still equal 16 new length regular rolls then that is fine with me. I would assume they have to be truthful in what they put on their packaging or they would get in trouble for "truth in advertisement" laws. If you wanted to see how much the price has gone up, you would have to divide out the price by square and see what the changed added to the cost, but since everyone is doing it now, there is really no point in doing that calculation because it isn't going back to what it once was.

According to some deal sites Sam's Club will be having an Open House on April 20,21,22. No guest pass is required and there will be no 10% service charge for non-members. However, one commenter called their local SC and asked and was told it was the week after. So call first to make sure.
