AKA the Orient Blue Mako. This watch goes on sale once a while on this site. Not a crazy discount, but pretty much the lowest I could find when trying to get this watch. Discovered this maker / model when I recently got into timepieces and this is a pretty popular one for a beautiful quality automatic for sub $100. I own it, and love it. Just thought I would pass it along for anyone looking.

Deal now appears to be dead. It is $138 at DSW and $134.45 directly from Amazon (2-3 weeks ship). There is a "Make an offer" button on DSW that some people could try, but I believe people were already being put on a waiting list by the end of the deal, so the chances looks slim. Hope everyone that was able to jump in gets it and enjoys their new time piece!

In hindsight, I should've just bought it considering there was free shipping both ways. Oh well. Won't make this mistake next time.
you missed this deal, you can get the Blue Mako or Black Mako with the rubber strap for $95 shipped.

At Amazon, the watch is now temporarily out of stock (email notification when available) instead of 2-3 week delay in delivery. I am waiting for my delivery.

The box I received looks nothing like the one in the picture (it's blue). Not a big deal, but feel kinda misled. Anyone else get the same?

Beautiful watch btw, I need to remove a couple of links and it's perfect.

What is the part number of the watches people are receiving from amazon? Mine is FEM65002DW which seem to be the one made for Eastern Europe. I wonder if it is covered by the warranty in the US.

Just checked my watch, it is a FEM65002DW. My order was backordered and I received it yesterday.

I think you are correct in that it was made for Eastern Europe. I have seen posts that Orient USA has shipped watches with this model number in the past. I think we are okay as far as warranty.

Just received. This is one of the nicest looking watches I have seen. Size is perfect. Like the screw down crown for water integrity. I would have liked it at $140. I really like it at $94.

just trying to help and assume you've tried everything since you are the one to post the videos, but have you tried turning it the opposite direction? i believe the time is clockwise turn and the day is counter clockwise. just weird you hit two bad watches in a row.

i don't remember the box. i do remember it not being what i was expecting, but after being having the watch for a couple months, those worries went away.
