Compact Flash Card (8gb-32gb) for Nikon D700

Found a cheap D700 on Craigslist so I decided to upgrade from my D7000 to full frame. Ended up costing less than half what a D800 would've cost, so I can't complain.

I've always noticed people around here in SDHC threads complain about the lack of CF card deals, but I had no idea just how bad the dearth of Compact Flash card deals is until I started looking.

I've checked Amazon, B&H, Adorama, and a few other places, but haven't found any deals. I need a total of 32gb worth of cards, but it doesn't matter to me whether that's one 32gb card or 4 8GB cards. I shoot in burst mode fairly frequently, so I need a reasonably fast card.

Any deals out there...at all?

I've been looking for some for my D700 too! ;-D I would say the only good deal out there if you are willing to spend this much, would be the 2-pack of Lexar 16GB 400x cards. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/c...details&Q=
Word of advice though stay away from Transcend no matter how good of deal you think ur getting. You could get a bad card and all your pictures will be gone! I had a SD card of theirs and that happened to me, but I have reading other people's reviews on there Compact Flash cards and the same horror story with some. Too risky so I wouldn't chance it.
