no offense to the OP because it seems everyone is doing this lately, but why are 'regular prices' being posted on video cards all the time? 6950, slick, should be if you can work it out to $180 or better, and considering the 7000-series cards are out, even that should be dropping. it's been routinely accessible for $210+ for a year.

on the other hand, this deal is not really a hot deal as the 7XXX cards are out, but it's not a bad deal either if you really want to buy this card TODAY. I believe the reason why this card can hold up its price for so long is because of its performance and possibly its unlock-ability (hit or miss for newer cards). My rig is actually using a 6950 2gb made by MSI (frozr III) and I was able to unlock it to 6970 shaders, and overclock it to run faster than many stock 6970. So pretty much I spent roughly $230 on a card that can perform at the level of a $350+ card. definitely worth every penny. E6750 @ 3400 MHz (425 x 8) @ 1.36 V

forgot to add that XFX's double lifetime warranty definitely adds a value to this deal. The double lifetime warranty ensures that the next owner of the card will also gets the lifetime warranty, which certainly help you get a better resale value when compared to other brands that only offer warranty to the original (first) buyer.
