I still don't understand this "trend" of why Sprint phones specifically drop in value so much. I've seen this happen with the Nexus S 4G, Evo 3D, and now the SGSII, when the equivalent GSM variants go for much more.

GSII goes for T-Mobile is still going for like $350-400+ used.

I think it's just CDMA, but I don't think Verizon has this big of a problem.

I know i got evo 3d right now no one wanna give me even $200 bucks on CL.Yeah u right its because of CDMA

Yeah I'm trying to get rid of my Evo 3D too. I bought a Sensation 4G for like $300 used even though the hardware is better on the Evo 3D, and I am having a hard time pawning it off for $200. So glad I dumped Sprint. I have never seen a phone value tank so much.

Part of the problem right now is sprint is supposed to be transitioning to LTE, and should be starting to release LTE phones shortly. This phone is wimax, so it would be a bad move to buy it at this point if you intended to keep it for any length of time.

I'm due for an upgrade (on original Evo), but I intend to wait out LTE phones (or ideally drop Sprint all together but I don't see anything any better out there). If I pick up a Wimax phone now, it will be even harder to get rid of in the next few months...

I have an upgrade too but am saving it for galaxy S3 that will be releasing next month(Rumor) .

I will be lucky if I can sell my Sprint iPhone 4S 16GB for $350 on CL today, it is unlocked but that does not do any good in the US.

I did not know that about the transition. i'm due for an upgrade in July. Do you think LTE will be available by then? Hope the service and reception will be better by than too. Wonder if i should wait it out.

only reason am stick to sprint is SERO. $55 bucks a month 500 min and everything else unlimited.Can't beat that,but i got a say that network so sucks.
