Where are you located?? it is impossible to get new in box 50% off TVs in most cities.

deals in this thread are available at target from march to may of each year for the most part. chances of finding something now are extremely rare because if nothing sold by now it most likely got sent back to a central warehouse due to being salvaged

I agree 100%! Don't buy a floor/wall model.... I bought a Philips 40in floor/wall model for a screaming deal only to have it give me problems 5months later (loosing channels, turning off randomly, clock resetting).

Philips knows it's an open box item, so they won't honor the warranty. I bought an extended warranty through Target, but I'm not sure how they'll handle it. Basically, it will cost them more to repair it than to give me a check for $170. I'm thinking I'm screwed! It was my first LCD TV, so I guess I can use that excuse.

Nailed a 40 inch SONY for $245 less 30%. Will have on eBay tomorrow THANKS TARGET !

Scored a floor model westinghouse 32 led tv today for $100 after RED Card, extra 20% floor model disc etc. I think it was 50 % off?

Got one to yesterday. NO STAND OR REMOTE and only took 10 % off. Will try to get the stand and remote from Westinghouse. Does anyone has experience dealing with Westinghouse on getting stand and remote? I have done it with SONY once before and it was pretty easy. Not sure about wetinghouse though.

Please let me know if your Target Warrantly helped or not. I too bought a 55 philips during that time, and I'm nearing the 90 days mark, just 2 more weeks to go. I have not bought the extended warranty, so I'm now worried and thinking of returning. What you guys suggest.

Gonna try to score some TVs ...hope some exist in my area... Will report.
