Just left Target getting th TV stand Zline clearance, did a 180 in the street only to find NOTHING

Slickdeals is everywhere. I walked into a local target to see the employees unbolting a display model of the Sony 40". I asked the customer if he heard about this online. He referenced slickdeals.net
I was a much happier camper when driving just 10 miles north to the next Target, I discovered the same TV, brand new in box, for the same price. I was already leery of picking up a display model anyway. Had I discovered the Panasonic, I probably would have tried to pony up the additional $210, and would still be at the store trying to fit the damn thing into my car

Found a display for the Samsung 40" at my local target for $300 - 10%. Just couldn't pull the trigger as it had some scuffs. I can't do scuffs. I also found the Magnavox 46" for $314.98 - 10%. Still couldn't do it. I will try my other Target as they open tomorrow, if they have a good deal, I'll get it. The 40" Samsung LED was still $594 and the 40" Sony Google TV was still $569, both in box. no 46" panny st30, just the 55" for $1000.

But honestly, I gave my mom one for her birthday/mothers day... and I think I am going to give it back to the guy... I mean I did get 3 40" tvs in the last 3 days and a 46" LED @ 552... I think I can let him have this one. I also had got 3 sony's, 1 panny, and 2 sammy's last year. |

Negative. Target employees are NOT the consumers, they are the enemy.
They lied to you and tried to cheat you. Have no remorse. I'd send the video to corporate so they can make an example of such employees. |

Saw the 46" Samsung LED today, but decided to walk away because they only had the display (10 % off $650) and its been turned on for at least a year 24/7, just figure it's not designed to be used that much.
