You can always get a price adjustment within 30 days from buysafe. That's why I was comfortable buying when I did. So if those who say the price is going to drop on the 19th are right, you can get the difference up to $100 from buysafe....it's a win-win! |

Now, when you buy one or the other you're more investing in a system than a camera... Some like the way Nikons feel and some like the way the Canons feel... I personally bought Canon because I had a few friends who used Canon and I could try out their lenses. In the end either camera is great and can take fantastic pictures. |

Well in the previous post it was $419 and few others and I suggested that the price would drop further.
But people were adamant that $419 is best price and price would only drop after an year or so, oh wait its not just a week and price already drop. I guess I will hold till further drop to $350.. |

Overall, it beats all the canon consumer line in image quality. Canon is better in video and little perks such as the swivel screen, the built in motor and better LCD screen (which is actually pretty important). If you use the Nikkor AF-S lenses like all the new lenses are, you do not need a focus motor. |
