AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note $229.99 @ Amazon ( Upgrade & New : Price dropped from 249.99) + $25 Free Apps Amazon Store (Ltd Time Offer) + Free Accessories + 14 day Prize Match Policy
Amazon.com seems to have dropped the price of Samsung Galaxy Note to $229.99, it was $249.99. Not really slick deal, as compared to FRY's 199.99 option recently, but may be good value for people who are in states not having FRY's store & had bad luck with price match

Finally, I took plunge and bought it. Post order pleasant surprise, I see below added in order confirmation ( I guess around 10$ value, I will update post receiving order if any discrepancy - This is not advertised on amazon so I am not sure if this is accidental or some running promotion):

1. WRT to Freebies,
i. Free Apps : To me, I do not have much use of these at this point, office productivity tool among frees is about 14.99 itself and may be value long term. But all in all, it was very easy to install amazon market and get these
apps. Free apps list keep changing time to time but being free is worth it :-)
ii. Free Car Charger : It does came as mentioned with car charger & couple adapters, so yeah certainly around 10 bucks worth stuff here.
2. WRT to phone, it is huge :-) and I am personally loving it after long years of iPhone use, and trust me after getting used to this, iPhone appears small :-). Well, I still love my iPhone but good is that is there is nothing absolutely I am missing wrt to iPhone on this, I am loving freeness to live wall papers, widgets, flexibility to customize, speed, beautiful screen, best of all, I can transfer content (to/forth) with breeze - I have DLNA samsung TV and Bluray player, samsung all share synch to that with couple taps !! and I can watch pictures, videos, music on my player, big TV with no hassle. So in nut shell, this is just 2 days worth of experience. I am loving Andriod - only thing I am missing is pop-up notification like it comes on iPhone once the phone is in sleep mode .. I see some some apps for that, but I would have expected that by default. Only other draw back is that, power button, volume controls for small hands may become issue while operation, as you may bump on them, my wife had trouble using the phone to start with and I am certain with some hands-on it will get better. My 4 yrs old, said wow, his statement is that he would want to use this than iPhone. [ I am lucky I guess, I have best of both worlds at this time and loving the fact a good, healthy completion to iPhone, this raise the bar for apple to make iPhone 5 really something or face the music !! ]
Btw, AT&T sucks, they took the ear phone out of this version which is included in international model. Shame on these folks .. this is really cheap.
