What are some INFREQUENT survey type sites?

Just a friendly word of advice, you do not need to start a separate thread for your survey questions as there already is one you can post questions to under which here is the link to it:

i have already read that thread, and while it doesn't answer my question [directly], i also have not posted in that thread, and will do so now, even though I do not feel that the thread I created is a 'waste'.

i am not asking for survey help, and i am not asking how other people have done [or feel about] other survey sites, and i am not asking how to reduce the number of survey invites i get.

it seems to me that the thread you posted a link to is a general survey questions thread, while i feel that my question was quite specific, and not very likely to get answered, or even seen in the other thread. i did, however, post my question there to see if i did get any response.

i do appreciate that you are only giving me constructive criticism, both by trying to point me to where you assumed my answer might lie, as well as trying to avoid board clutter.

If you can get into Pinecone Research, they send you a couple every now and then and you will get paid when you take it.

I don't think I get many that are 1 or 2 a month other than Pinecone. But set up a survey only e-mail account, sign up to that, and then check the main when you want to take surveys. Start at the most recent and work your way down, and you won't get DQed as easily.

i am with pinecone, but i think you didn't understand what i'm asking. i am not asking for a way to only do surveys every now and then. i am looking for sites like brand institute and socratic forum, that ONLY send out like 1-2 times every month or so.

You are right tyr888. That "main survey thread" was created because most of the members on this board have a problem with people asking questions and clogging up the board with...I don't even know what to call it. It's become obvious in the years that I've been on here how some people play favorites but whatever. Truth be told I have NUMEROUS people on ignore Don't let it get to you though cause this is just not a friendly board. Your best bet is to pm someone you are cool with or google it because these I highly doubt you will get the response you need on here. Good luck. Oh and this will likely be deleted in 5,4,3,2...

As the creator of that thread, I feel obligated to respond to your comments.

First, it is not our policy to merge into master threads. Asking questions here is encouraged and allowed, which is why you will find two icons in the survey forum: a "question" icon and a "survey" icon.

The thread was created to offer general help to our members, as I stated in the OP: The point of this thread is to help educate our fellow survey takers, both old and new, as to which companies are the most reputable to work with. Please keep in mind, however, that what one person may love about a certain company, another person may not.

Next,If people don't like a thread, they may use the thumbs system to vote on it, but they need to be aware that abuse of the system may get their voting rights revoked. This includes repeatedly thumbing down a thread just because it is a question in this forum.

Third, you are wise to include people that you don't get along with on your ignore list. It prevents fighting and arguing.

Finally, you will notice that your post was not deleted.It is fine to express your opinion! Posts are not removed unless they are considered off topic, trolling, or somehow as deemed by the community. 99 percent of posts are removed because a fellow member of the community mod alerted it, NOT because a mod chose to do so on a whim.

well, i just rejoined mindfield -- i left them last month because i never got anywhere with them before, and they were on my annoyed list. however, i realize now that they are more likely to hit into local focus groups, and rejoined to give them another chance.

i joined mail diary panel about a month ago, but aven't heard from them since. not sure if they email me, or if i'm supposed to initiate with them.

i have no problem with people using the thumbs up/down system -- quite frankly, i ignore it, and don't care [nor see why] my thread is getting thumbs down. as well, i also don't see any reason to be offended for anything, and i also know that people are thumbing down my thread and not necessarily me -- i don't have the time nor the sentiment to care enough about that.

anyway, i am not asking people's opinions. i am askin for companies that, as a matter of factual course, only send out like 1-2 times every 1-2 months.

I think mail diary panel is by email. I have never gotten a PT from mindfield, but have received several PT's. Permission research isn't too often along with their sister company, Opinion Square. gl

Just wanted to add that I find it quite repulsive that this thread has so many TD's. People have become soooooo snarky. And to madisan, you must be kidding. If it weren't for finzz we wouldn't have a survey sub-forum.
