ON the HotDEals forum, Dish is giving out Roku for their customers complaining aobut the loss of AMC,IFC and such.
I think Dish network will lost lots of customers due to this as well as the cost of Roku, $10 off and more ppl learning about watching TV via streaming is dumb. Dish ceo are totally playing with fire here.

So now i'm going to look at Dish, DirecTV comcast and AMC network owners and such. I should look at Dish Puts, DirecTV calls and study AMC, Netflix, roku, apple TV, and anything else that delivers tv to ppl.

Didn't know that bout Dish. I guess I should take a closer look since I'm a subscriber. I'm curious to see how many people take advantage of NFL Sunday Ticket on DirectTV and if the numbers are significant to them.

Apple isn't going to be phased by Apple TV. Their value comes almost exclusively from the hype surrounding their semi-annual updates/releases for the iPad and iPhones. Now with prepaid carriers picking up iPhones as well, we should see even more iOS devices out there.

Trust me, if I could, I would have a WHILE ago, for Sunday Ticket alone. Got desi parents though. They need their Zee TV or whatever that crap is.

when my grandparents visited we got all the channels for their soap operas on DirecTV. There was one channel that wasn't on DirecTV which we were able to get it online but it was about 4 hours behind...

Man, my grandparents are another story, they each have their own tvs. The ones who can't see worth crap get their own big screens.
