(don't mean to be an alarmist - but it doesn't hurt to be a little careful and aware of the New guidelines:
•Always place hot glass bakeware on a dry, cloth potholder or towel. Never place hot glass bakeware on top of the stove, on a metal trivet, on a damp towel, directly on a counter or in a sink.
•Never put glass bakeware directly on a burner or under a broiler.
•Always allow the oven to fully preheat before placing the glass bakeware in the oven.
•Always cover the bottom of the dish with liquid before cooking meat or vegetables.
(funny how this doesn't seem to matter with your mom's/grandma's old pyrex)

Sorry about asking a bunch of questions about rebates, but I printed the online receipt from my account & see that the rebate says it wasnts the UPC bar code symbol from package that must include the original UPC barcode symbol with model # attached from the package. Where is the model number? I bought the griddle (already wrapped), crockpot, and cookware set.. not sure what it's wanting me to attach. Thanks!
