I have a general question - Im thinking of getting a laptop/notebook for a vacation im going on with mom that I might want to google stuff to do and see.

I dont use my cell phone for internet - though I could set it up for this week but its always so slow and Im not a patient computer person.

My laptop I have now is mainly for work and quite bulky and heavy (about 5 years old)

What is the difference between a laptop & notebook? what should I look for? any help would be appreciated !!

Notebook and laptop are the same. If u mean a NETBOOK, it is a stripped down version of the notebook - processor, ram, harddisk etc.

Btw, netbooks are so old gen..i suggest u look for a tablet if u do not create much..like docs, xl
