I choose the Reach toothbrushes because they're free after MQ and RAQ. Plus, I could buy a couple at a time and not have to rely on all those in-ad coupons. I try not to be excessive in my use of those per transaction. I just grabbed a couple Reach toothbrushes & 1 Visine each trip this week.

For me,It was the high # of RA coupons that you needed to rip out of the ad that made the Visine deal a complete and total hassle. So much easier at wags where you just have to scan one coupon from the weekly ad and/or monthly book and you're done. Plus a total waste of paper. I still managed to do the Visine deal well over 20 times so it wasn't a complete loss.

S&Gers seem to mindlessly drop in, grab what the screen told them to get and leave..sometimes thats a good things for the majority of us

these booklets are seriously everywhere...back at pharmacy counter(s), on a cardboard display, in and on the wellness circular rack at front of store, double stacks at all the registers at front of store, even at the photolab.....also saw them at the little counter by the GNC aisle, and the wellness ambassador makes sure you get a few on the way out too

its a shame that some just take them all..i say share the wealth! its ok for others to get in on the action....too many deals..none of us can get them all right (well, except for QQ7 of course) .....<-- *sigh* are you perhaps Scottish Mr.Wallace?

Ain't that the truth. Some SM's are ok with just pushing the +ups through, but I've had other SM's tell me that they can't take it if it doesn't scan because it goes against their bottom line and to call corp. This is absolutely ridiculous because the customer has nothing to do with why the +ups won't scan.

I guess I have been very luck, I have never had a problem with an up not scanning.

I have plenty not scan (tape too light, gun light not steady etc) - they type in the 11 digits instead.

How did some of you guys go about talking with your managers about doing multiple transactions...big orders etc.?

ETA: I guess I should also mention that I donate a lot of the things that I don't think that I can generate income from (toothpaste isn't a great mover anymore etc.) I'm disappearing for 3 months...before I can even step foot into another Rite Aid. I'd like to give my donation pile a huge boost. (Probably retail $3000) Since I donate $1000 per month.

I won't lie, in 1 transaction this week I did use 7 of those in-add Qs but it was with my jedi cashier so I thought what the hec I'll try it. Usually I do 1 or 2 trx a day during the week for this type of deal. I bet I'm hurting them more with the credit card trx fees by doing that.

Otherwise I did the same thing as you. Reach TBs!! I have so many family and friends who ask fot TBs that this is a really great deal! In fact I need to go get 1 more TB to finish the deal

I thought exactly as you. 2/3 sotres close to me were swimming in these booklets and then BAM! But It's cool I think these will be replenished because they look exactly like the never ending Allergy booklets.

That is crazy! 30% of my +UPs don't scan but I've never had a store not take them. While shopping a couple of days ago a man delivered a new machine at the store so I really hope the non-scanning issue stops.

Um . . ."here these four would not scan, use them on your next order"? Really? If they didn't scan in the order you had them in, what made the cashier think they'd scan in your next order?
