Thank you~ I went and watched several videos... they were all store coupons, they say you can use them on MQ, but that many stores still require the paper one to go with it.

I think so few people take the time to praise employees, that when they do, it is a big deal. When I do the store survey, I make sure to note the employees name that caused such a good or bad review. This is what the store manager cares about.

Thanks for the input. That sounds reasonable enough to me. Maybe the manager doesn't get back to them, or they don't understand about the surveys. All I know is a bunch of employees were very eager to assist me after he got the award.

Had an abuser in line in front of me. All the RA staff know me as the coupon KING, so I had to check out her deal. She had the nerve to sign up for a new card and then use printed +Ups from her existing maxed out card. Used 2 different PG product Q's.. 12 each. Then had rain checks for amounts larger than the allotted deal. I called her out on mis-using the coupons as blatent abuse and warned her not to try her shenanigans at the other stores about 30 miles away. She wasn't happy that she got caught. Lucky for her I know the store will be reimbursed for the coupons! She's now on their watch list, but lives 2 hours away. Better not see her screwing with my deals in my store again!

The deal was a $5 mm on Saturday night so I wanted to give my RA peeps a heads up. Unfortunately, it looks like they caught it on Sunday and the ECB's stopped printing. This has been an amazing week with the $6 mm on Poise at RA and the $10 mm on Schick Hydro shave gel at CVS.

hmm that's strange. The ones you bought had a paper backing right? I bought the nivea moisture one (dark blue) with paper backing and it was tax free. Also the single tube of mint & minerals w/o the paper backing was not taxed either and that was from the lotion aisle so I am not sure..

Last night, I went to a RA to get in on the Poise deal and there was none left. Oh well.

So today, I run my wags route which has another RA across the street. I decide to check it. And just as I get to the shelves with the Poise, an employee comes out of the back room with 4 product. Perfect timing. How often does that happen? So I check my envelope stash and have only 1 coupon. Darn it. But then I reach into my coat pocket, and I feel a crumpled paper. Pull it out and it’s another Poise coupon that I didn’t use the night before. Bingo! Get 2 and get the 5.98 MM.

Then, I check my receipt and noticed I was only $11.41 away from the $20 anniversary UP. We just happen to be in need of some Downy and there it is – Downy on sale for 5.94 and counts toward anniversary. Two Downy will get me the $20 UP, but all I have to use is a $20 Up from the Natrol deal. So I check my envelope again and have some Revlon Beauty Tool q’s and 2 Baby Lips IP. Check Revlon and they actually have 4 Revlon files for 1.99. Everything sets up. I end up getting 2 Downy, 4 Revlon files, and 3 Baby Lips. Afters mq’s and $20 Up, it’s a few pennies plus tax and get back my $20 Up with another $3 Up.

The way I see it, I just got paid almost $9 to pick up some Downy that we needed. And none of it was planned.

Good for you, glad it works so great for you. Unfortunately there is only 1 rite aid around here, so I don't get a lot of choices.

Well, I think I have figured out that while taxes apply to pre-MQ totals, they also apply to post-UP totals. In other words, I got $47.80 in product today and used $23 UP. So, when I calculated the tax, it was on $24.80 and not the $47.80. Does this sound right to anyone?

I can't seem to figure out the taxes anymore - I'm not in OH (obviously) but Sunday I used a $20 annivery +UP (RC48) and it did NOT reduce my taxable total. Did you use any RC48 +UP's?

No, I only got the St. Joseph and the Pantene and used those MQs. I was expected to pay close to $3.60 in tax (0.075% x 47.80). But I only had to pay $1.80+ in tax, which is 0.075% of 24.80.
