OAN, does anyone here use a MacBook Pro? I'm getting so tired of my laptop with Windows Vista (worst OS evah) and I sooooo love my Mac Mini desktop. I'm watching for a deal and found good prices on the 15.4" and 17", all else being equal. I'm thinking the smaller one is much lighter and more portable, and really not that much smaller of a screen. I hate carting around my 17" Gateway. Thoughts?

There's were some interesting posts.
Here's a recap; Sportsdoll's daughter has a yeast infection. There was a suggestion of freezing yogurt in gloves and inserting said frozen yogurt in appropriate place Sportsdoll's hubby said that would be a nice snack ![]() Other than that..........it's been a ghost town. |

Hope you feel better soon.

Good morning, everyone!
So sorry you're still not feeling well! Hopefully it will be better when you wake up today....So, yesterday I went to a RA that I haven't been to in months. As I drove by, I saw a new --- WALGREENS!!!!!! So now there's one 25 minutes away, not 45, and it's near a RA and CVS and the 2 grocery chains. This could spell trouble. Because I didn't really get the hang of Wags. The only time I was really successful was when they had Bayer meters for $10 giving $10 RR and we had $10 mfr Qs, and they also had Joint Juice for $10 giving $10 RR, so rolling was super easy and I stocked up on things that I use and a friend uses. But of course, any time I tried to do something more complicated it got ugly.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ post linky Thanks to all my RA peeps for getting me to 6000! Thanks munchkin, cmm4chris, debko, thorndor, angelinda, PGF, Mokki and Rodent!!! Thanks to all my Shaw's buddies for getting me to 5000. 42% of children in the United states live in low-income families (less than the amount needed to cover basic expenses). Why should you care? Because the future of our country depends on our children. |
I have a question - you know all these rebates that are now coming in the form of a prepaid card like the P&G deals. When I get down to $1.25 or something, do I have to know the value and then tell the cashier to charge that specific amount to the card? or can I just scan the card and it will take of the value that is remaining on the card (like it does for a gift card)? I heard that it works for AMEX pre-paid cards and am wondering if it does for P&G visa/mastercard ones. I seriously have 3 cards that only have $1.xx value on it taking up WAY too much room in my wallet. I want to get rid of them and the balances on them.
Big thanks to sweeneycat for getting me to 1000!! Big thanks for to petergabrielfan for leading the way and stitchshopgirl, firstbase, virago06, kren, and bigrodent for rounding it out.
IIRC, you had to tell the cashier what to input on those cards. Real PITA, I agree.
