RITE AID CHAT THREAD

This thread is being created for us to come and talk/chat. The Rite Aid Deals thread is for the deal talk. So hopefully this thread will help decrease the off topic chatter in the deals thread and we all have a place to chat with each other. nod

Wanted to add that this chat group will follow the same rules of the Lounge. Rules are located here: http://slickdeals.net/forums/showthread.php?sduid=0&t=1091306

I used to be a Rite-Aid shopper and got some really good deals there, and now I want to get back into it again. Things have changed considerably at Rite-Aid, so I feel like I'm starting all over again and have a lot of new things to learn, which I'm trying to read about in the threads.

This week I bought St. Joseph and Hershey's Kisses since we use/want those, so I have earned a $4 and $2 +UP. Can anyone suggest where to go from here, with little OOP? (I'm at Silver level, but will probably lose that at the end of the year since I only have 25 pts. now Frown).

Any help would be appreciated!

not till Feb.

So this blind guy with a seeing eye dog walks into RA and heads to the middle of the store. He finds an open spot and then picks the dog up and starts spinning him around in circles above his head. The sales lady comes over and asks the man if he needs any help and the man says no thanks, we're just looking...laugh out loud

I gave up on RA so you can have my points. I've got about 75,000. That should keep you shopping for awhile...laugh out loud

Not sure what your family uses, but there's free A/H laundry soap next week. You can roll your $6 UPs. See Staxin's post here.

75K is just insane! I have almost 12K and spend way too much time between CVS and RA. I can't imagine spending 5x the amount of time in RA. It'd be like a full-time job (which I already have). Seriously...how many hours do (did) you log/week between RA and CVS. Just curious. I know you do a major sell-out every Sat so it is worth it but just for fun...about how many shopping hours?

Can someone please point me towards the instructions for editing a wiki and uploading files? I've been searching but can't find it. I've created a place holder for the 12/9 Rite Aid ad and am attempting to edit the wiki and upload the ad scan but I keep getting a an error message. TIA

Question.

If you make a return on an item that gave you up rewards, will those up rewards be removed? What if you spend the UP earned and then make the return?

additionally, do up rewards require the items to be all on the same transaction? I was just trying to exchange laundry detergent for dryer sheets in the latest 15UP WYB $30

YMMV, I have returned stuff and it did not affect the UPS, since cashier did not know whether an up was earned or not.

If a deal is buy $X get $Y up, it does track (however recently a deal like this did not), there was talk they changed it when it was less than $10. If a deal is buy x, get $Y up, you must buy it in same transaction.

Riteaid is very much YMMV.

There is also a Facebook Instant Win game that you can play daily and win codes from. It is located here [facebook.com] I just won 180 points today from playing this spin-to-win game (they give you three spins daily)..
