Man... I thought I was gonna give up shopping at Kmart with the $1.50 ips not scanning issue. But since I still have one 20,000 pts WYB $20 fb coupon ... I headed back to the store. This time I grabbed 5 bottles of L'Oreal shampoo (2/$9), a bottle of ketchup for $1 and a clearance box of Orville popcorn $1.99. Total over $25.49. Handed her the fb coupon. Then I had plenty of $2 L'Oreal IPs. First 3 scanned no problem. Next 2 won't scan. Asked her to return those 2 and I gave her another 2 which scan fine. So OOP was $4.xx. No 20K pts on the receipt. Called CS and rep said because my OOP was only $4.xx so no points. I did use a fb coupon 3 week earlier buying 3 bags of candies and paid OOP $20 and got the point. This one is from hubby's fb account that I used for this transaction.
Guess I'm going to be heading back to the store to return those shampoos. How is return done on these since it's $4.50 but with $2 ip and $2 double coupon... each one is 50¢.
I'm gonna give up KMarting... LOL
Since the FB coupons have expired, you can't use again, so unless CS credited you, that coupon/points are lost. If you return, they can't give you your coupons back, and I doubt if they'd give you the $ back for them, (someone else with this experience can help) so, you might just get only your OOP back. I'd just keep the items and not return. I don't think its worth the hassle.
Wonder if the doubling part of the coupon offer takes away from the $$ spent for the FB coupon.
Also, in fine print for doubling, it reads 'up to 4 like coupons' so DK if that figures into the non scanning problem? OR, just that we know Unilever coupons are problematic, anyway.
Maybe Tori meant "several" as in different types ($10/$10, $20/$20, $30/$10, and $20/$10)? IDK!!
Anyone know if something online that didn't work with a Spend x Pts get x Pts will work in store?
I found these awesome HTTYD Tshirts for my boys ... Online they are listed as "great price" which I can't apply a SYWR q to but I wonder if it will could work in store. That store tgat has them is 20min away so DH will freak if I drove for nothing. TIA
I think if the item is coded as a "great price" item, its going to be coded that way in store too...much like a "everyday steal" at macys or other higher end retailer. My guess is that if that is an exclusion on a spend xx number of points and get xx number back coupon you received, you will have same issue in store. You *could* risk it, but likely with the same result. The only benefits I can foresee, is the store not understanding why it wont work and manually giving you points OR SYW giving you the points manually if the items don't show on the receipt as "great price" HTH.
ISO: USA coupons for SB, C9, Fusion razors, Clean & Clear, Contessa On The Stove meals, Glade, SB, Kleenex Hand Towels, BBW Surveys, VS Surveys, AE rewards codes
Does anyone have experience with the KMART.COM pay in store option? I understand that you cannot pay with points at this time, but is it possible to use manufacturer and/or Shop Your Way coupons when you arrive at the store to pay? Also, can you apply an online coupon for points back, pay in store, and still receive points?
Oh hunting we will go / Oh hunting we will go / Heigh ho the derry-o / Oh hunting we will go
I did find an ad in another area paper. So, they're still printing the ad's, just deciding which papers/areas get them on any given week. Very strange. You'd think it would bring in more business.
I was told the same thing. They no longer print the ad.
My delivered paper hasn't had the Kmart ad most weekends for a while now. I had called the paper and she told me (it wasn't just missing from mine) Kmart just didn't issue them for my area. Weird cause Kmart is just a mile away. Can't imagine their reasoning.
My store told me yesterday that they were no longer keeping weekly ads in store, only the monthly. They said it's a trial thing, which is the dumbest thing ever, especially considering no cashier or manager has yet to know anything about any sale, or points/CRT promo I've ever had a question about, and the store hardly ever puts up signage. I know that the only way I'll ever know what's going on at Kmart is to look at the ad myself before I go, which is totally fine. However when the deal doesn't work and they insist on me finding it in the ad for them so that they can scrutinize the terms (like they always do), I guess I'm SOL because their site is too poor to render ad's well on a mobile device.
And sometimes it's just nice to have the ad with me in the aisles so that I can read the terms myself if I need to. And now no printed ads? Come on, Kmart.
5 Olay bar soap 6 pk $5.49
1 Vidal Sasoon styling gel $3.54
3 Olay $2/1 bar 4ct+ ets (10/31/14) RP 9/14/14
1 Olay $2/2 body wash or bar (don't know which insert this came from, but 10/31/14 exp)
1 Vidal Sassoon $2/1 hairspray or styling aids ets (10/31/14) SS 9/21/14
Paid 11.45 SYW pts and $.60
Coupons scanned and doubled perfectly, only problem I had was that I had to pay the $.60 OOP and couldn't use points on it (tho I had plenty in my acct) and I didn't understand why until I was in the parking lot. It was the tax on the $10 worth of coupons. But even the cashiers couldn't tell me why. In any case, ~$12 for 30 bars of soap and a hair gel is good in my book! Especially since we have to use Olay or Dove soap in the winter months and I'd been waiting for a stock up price.
