It's $1779 with an automatic $79 coupon making it $1,700 before the 20% back. You get back $340 in rewards so the TV comes out to $1,360. But you have to spend the $340 at buy.com. That's always the problem...

well, with my method you have 6 months to spend it.

I still have 4000 points left from last time when they had this promo. Bought refurb HTC Flyer for 200-20%=160.

I don't see the problem, there are always deals on Buy.com, and don't forget the cashback you get on your initial purchase from your favorite cashback site.

i bought the UN55D7000 TV for $1700 when they had 29% back in cashback, coupled with the credit card's cashback. Had $490 in buy.com bucks and $85 in cashback. Found some items cheap to resell on Ebay, turn those bucks to cash, $400 worth, and all said and done, final cost was $1215 for the TV, which it has NEVER hit that low, even during its discontinued phase that its in now.

also, does the cashback sites works on buy.com? Since they require us to opt-in.

Where is the $79 coupon on the TV. Not seeing it.

Its not there anymore what I got, but just did a search, can always try your luck with the Garmin 3790. I think the refurbished sells for $220 or so on Ebay, and its $180 on Buy.com. Not a profit, but that is not the point, you just want to convert points to cash.
