Fujitsu Primergy TX100 S3 Core i3 2100 mini-server Dual NIC ECC $299.99 Tigerdirect
No tax for Californians, this looks like a everyday price on Tigerdirect, but $300 for what this server offers is quite good. A comparable mobo and i3 CPU alone can add up to almost $300. BTW, this is way faster than the Proliant N40L. Shipping is not free though.

This seems to be support ECC, but I wasn't aware that i3's supported ECC. Alas, no vt-d support, which is a bummer. Sell the i3 and get Xeon E3, you got yourself a pretty good server. I am building my own because I need more than 4 drives, unfortunately, otherwise I am all over this.
