This is my favorite Lavazza. I don't like the black can espresso or the brown can Tierra (tastes lemony / sour to me) but this type is wonderful. Tastes great if you make it in a stovetop moka, but it does well in a drip maker, too, if your drip machine gets hot enough.

Yes Bustello also very good and not overly powerful. It is cheaper at some supermarkets and target stores (usually on clearance since most are addicted to Starsucks).

Got this a few months ago when $12 for 4 bricks. Really enjoy it. Smooth taste from drip machine. This has replaced Starbucks at my house. Drink it every day. Just ordered 8 more bricks. Thanks OP.
Do the other lavazzas or the bustello do well in drips? Suggestions? EDIT: meant to add that we drink it black: no cream or sugar. Love it. |
