8W LED bulbs for $3.99 at local Walgreens.
Heck, if $7/bulb made the front page, than my $3.99 deal blows it out of the water. Regularly $10, on sale for $3.99. Check your local Walgreens, as I'm pretty sure mine isn't the only one doing that.
Here's my receipt. Notice I didn't bother to blank out the last 4 digits of my CC like everybody else, as it always cracks me up whenever I see that (as if showing the last 4 digits were somehow dangerous).
P.S. Forgot to post the specs: Greenlite A19; 3-year warranty; dimmable; 8W (40W equivalent); 450 lumens; 3000K; 25,000hrs; estimated yearly energy cost (@3hrs/day) = 96 cents. Even though it's 3000K, mine look very white (not blue), even more so when compared to the CFLs that I have. I have 3 LEDs in my restroom and it's very bright, as bright or brighter than when I had 4 13W CLFs, but now the light is white and the aesthetic look is better.
