HTC One S Pre-order at Costco Online for $164.99 after MIB for new/extended contract on T-mobile

Anyone know if it's possible to buy this phone at the retail price? I have a grandfathered dataplan and it looks like it will force me to remove it for taking this deal.

I couldn't find a way.. $399 would sure be nice.

Yes. Although I think that may be a typo since actual retail price is 549.99

be aware, buying online from costco wireless has less advantages then buying at the booth. from experience, a phone would have to be returned to the online site and not the booth. also the 30 day pricematch does not work online.

I have a small business account with t-mobile .. would I be able to get this without changing my plan? anyone know?

Costco doesn't let you buy retail. They just show that price as a "comparison" to show how much your saving by getting the contract. And yeah, the $399.99 price is probably just a typo.



They said they pay for shipping both ways. Didn't know the 30-day price match wouldn't work online though. Is that a price match with other stores or with a new Costco price? A price match with a new lower price at Costco should still work, since you could essentially just "exchange" for the same phone at the new price within 90 days.

Costco's wireless division (membershipwireless.com) has the HTC One S for $189.99. If you pre-order online you get a $25 Costco cash card after MIB, bringing the total to $164.99

When I ordered, THEY DIDN'T ACTUALLY VERIFY I WAS A COSTCO MEMBER. YMMV on this though...and Costco cash is kinda useless for you then

costco pricematches their own price only within 30 days at the booth only.

it says on the rebate "An HTC One S must be activated on a New Two Year Activation (Lines 1-5) or Qualified Upgrade at Costco during the Presale on Costco.com." so im guessing it is for add-a-line!

HTC - Low quality crap and bad HTC customer service. I burnt my money twice with them. I ain't going there.
