[BYou are registered for experiments on the UCSD Learning, Attention, and Perception Lab.
This email is to invite you to participate in a new research study.
Brief Description of Study: $7.00 base pay plus a performance-based bonus of up to $5.00 for a 30-40 minute study. You will see sequence of 300 funny blobby shapes displayed one at a time, and try to decide if each one is a "Goopie" or a "Plunkett" (these are two fairly similar categories that have certain differences you will slowly learn to discern as you practice the task and get feedback). Final test with another 100 Goopies or Plunketts will be provided at the end (performance there determines your bonus).
Timing of Study: Whole session takes about 30 - 40 minutes.
