Sorry to get a little off-topic but I'm looking to get a mini wireless keyboard for my HTPC. Do Bluetooth in general have more problems than RF's? I get mixed reviews. Also, I've heard that one of Bluetooth's advantage is you don't need a direct line of sight to operate and that RF's do. I'm thinking of getting a Rii-type mini keyboard, one is Bluetooth and has all the function keys and the RF one has only 8 function keys. I wanted the Bluetooth one but now I'm not so sure.

Just gotta say: Logitech has one of the best warranty programs around. I've had to use it a couple times over the years.
First time was for a Harmony remote. Screen broke. They refurbed me an exchange model even though I think it was out of warranty and I had no proof of purchase as a one time replacement. Was very impressed. Second time was for my MX Revolution mouse (3 year warranty). The wheel was sticking, they replaced it with a brand new Performance MX which is my current mouse. Third time was for my Cordless Desktop Wave. One of the plastic legs broke, (to keep the keyboard elevated), and I was just asking on how I could buy another one to replace it (it snaps in place, it's like a 50 cent part), but they told me they would just warranty the whole keyboard set, and upgraded me to the Desktop Wave with the unifying receiver, through warranty exchange. I am continually impressed the way they step out of the way to assure their products work well. And I really shouldn't complain about the free upgrades honestly, but sometimes they just go way over the top for me. Oh yeah, none of this cost me anything of course. They send me prepaid UPS labels everytime to ship the product back to them. I have to do another warranty exchange on a faulty Logitech Revue (refurbed one from Amazon) that I think is just outside it's 90-day warranty, but they are sending me a return label anyway. Not sure what I'm getting back honestly (I think they will actually have to repair the Revue this time), but no complaints which is why I use a lot of Logitech stuff (3 Harmony remotes, Revue, webcam, mouse, keyboard, speakers, ipod dock, laptop dock etc.) |

Just got my Mini
Well i bit the bullet and purchased one yesterday and showed up today. Man I have fallen in love with it. Its perfect for media center, you can switch the track pad to just basic up, down, left, right controls which is really nice and the range is outstanding. The only thing im not really digging is the fact that in order to right click you have to use two keys the same for the skip button a bit annoying but in a few days ill get used to it. Ill end up ordering another two tonight for my other two media center computers in the bedroom and the kids room. Thank op i could not bite the bullet at msrp but at 60 dollars its a bit easier.
