Diablo 3 free open beta with valid Battle.net account 4/20-4/23

This is kind of a weird question, but once I had earned my left and right click skills, how was I supposed to use my weapon? I equipped a dagger, but when attacking I used my skills and never found myself attacking with the dagger. I must've missed something I guess.

As fas as the beta was concerned, I liked it. The way the skills are laid out is strange, but I'll get used to it. I only played as the Witch Doctor over the weekend as he reminded me the most of my man the Necromancer. Never been a fan of the barbarian type classes, the only other class that looks cool to me in D3 is the demon hunter.

From what I've read that's exactly how it's supposed to work. By carrying the weapon you get those attributes added (for instance if +3 to STR), but you don't actually use the weapon unless you are of the class that uses it (I think). I only played Witch Doctor and Demon Hunter and neither "used" their weapon.

Ehhh, 50% is awesome, but I have a thing about buying too much in gift cards. I actually end up spending more money that way.

That is part of their plan. Also, gift cards have a shockingly high rate of non-use. For some companies, they are a major profit center.

But anyone who can resist the urge to impulse purchase stuff you don't need and never loses a card and gets the cards at half off, kudos on your iron will and true SD grit!
